Golden Globes 2026 full nominations list: 'One Battle After Another' and 'The White Lotus' lead in film and television categories

The Golden Globes will kick off Hollywood's awards season on Jan. 11 by honoring the best artistic works in film, television and even, for the first time, podcasts. Nikki Glaser will return as host for the second year in a row.

The show’s unique format, which separates movies and TV shows into separate drama and comedy/musical categories, means that some of the year’s most celebrated works aren’t in direct competition with each other.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another leads the pack with nine total nominations across the comedy/musical film categories, including Best Picture, Best Director and Leonardo DiCaprio’s nod for Best Actor. On the film drama side, Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value secured eight nominations.

HBO’s The White Lotus has the most nominations across the various television categories, with six. Adolescence, which dominated the limited series categories at the Emmys in September, is up for five Golden Globes. Only Murders in the Building and Severance have four apiece.

This year’s show will be just the third time that the Globes have recognized popular movies that don’t fit the usual awards fare with its Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category. Nominees include Avatar: Fire And Ash, KPop Demon Hunters and Wicked: For Good.
